In 2017 I worked alongside the owners to create Horsey Holiday House’s branding, social media campaign and website. The cottage was in a rural Horsey, Norfolk which was a popular destination to see the seals and their pups.
We hit a challenging time during COVID as we were unable to rent out the property. We created a great relationship with local businesses and pubs in the area and shared posts to boost morale during the challenging time. I also created a personalised Christmas card featuring the businesses around the cottage and sent it out locally and to previous guests to keep in contact and
In September 2025 the owners sold the cottage to a private buyer. I really enjoyed creating posts, polishing up my copywriting, visiting the cottage and adjusting social media posts to reflect the analytics of the viewers and guests. It was a really rewarding job that gave me valuable insight into social media, analytics, audience and creative posting.
